Tornado Wreaks Havoc During Concert
In 2006 at a concert in Grado, Italy, a Tornado rips right through the outdoor arena. The concert for Eros Ramazzotti was being filmed that day for a possible DVD release. Unfortunately the footage was unusable for anything other than a news story capturing Mather Nature. Paul Warren recalls being in the middle of only the third song of the night when the wind quickly picked up. Within seconds Eros Ramazzotti was being escorted off stage by security and rushed to safety. The rest of the band was right behind him! Luckily no one at the concert was injured, but a lot of the Bands instruments and effects were ruined. The elaborate lighting for the concert was also damaged, though not beyond repair. Having heard news of a number of stages collapsing in 2011, the Eros Ramazzotti band and crew were lucky to escape with a little more than just sand in their eyes. Even for anyone who can not understand Italian, the powerful images from this clip tell the story without commentary.
